GENERAL EXTENSION OF TIME AND DIRECTIVE IN RELATION TO WORKING DAYS LOST DUE TO INDUSTRIAL ACTION
Under the powers vested in me by section 177 of the Companies Act, 1973, I, hereby, grant a general extension of time of one additional day for every day that the CIPRO is not able to fully perform its functions due to the engagement of industrial action by public servants. In order to prevent further losses to CIPRO, it has been decided that electronic credit card transactions will no longer be available with effect from Monday 21 June 2010.
Please note that the credit and debit cards facility at the Point Of Sale (POS) terminals at the CIPRO offices at the dti campus are experiencing a technical problem. Once the problem has been resolved , a notification will be published on the CIPRO website.

CORRECTION OF NON COMPLIANCE WITH ANNUAL RETURNS (IN DEREGISTRATION)
If an entity has been placed in deregistration due to failure to lodge annual returns, the entity will still have the opportunity to lodge its annual returns while in deregistration. The entity can lodge the annual returns electronically via the CIPRO website and will be automatically placed back into business. This will only be allowed up until publication of the entitys final deregistration.

Payments to CIPRO Cashiers
As of the 1st August 2008 CIPRO cashiers will only be able to receive cash
transaction, no cheques or cards will be accepted at the cash tills.
This is a temporary arrangement until further notice. Our customers are also advised
